Music is a big part of my life. My friend had asked me, “would you rather lose the sense of sight or hearing?” As much as I would hate to lose the beautiful visuals that life has to offer, I told him I would rather be blind than deaf. I don’t think I could ever do without the sound of music. Of course, a video iPod wouldn’t do much good for a blind person (although 80 GB would hold a lot of mp3’s).

I tend to agreee with you… music and sound plays such a major part of my life. Naturally I would be devistated of I lost my sight, but without my hearing… well… but humans always seem to adapt quickly to losses such as therse, but I’m not volunteering to try it tho!
